Tucson Unified School District Receives $20,595 Grant for STEM Programs

For the second year, Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. donated funds to the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) to support their science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs. On Tuesday, March 10, 2015, the company presented TUSD with a check for $20,595 that will be used to provide high school STEM clubs with the resources to plan, develop, prepare, and implement rigorous and relevant projects that connect academics and community service. Each student club will determine its own STEM related projects and/or field studies that will support their school and club goals, including service components designed to connect with other TUSD schools.

“We are thrilled that our donation to TUSD has doubled in size since our first donation last year,” said Jeff Stibel, Chairman and CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp.  “As our partnership continues to grow, we are helping to expand the STEM program’s curriculum to more students in the Tucson area and provide a fantastic educational foundation.”

Since 2013, Dun & Bradstreet Credibility has donated a total of $530,000 to public schools throughout the country, and $31,000 of that was to TUSD previously.
